dude, the 1st gen probe looks the same as teh eclipse and lasers. and actually, performace wise, stock for stock it would beat a 2nd gen. And also, I know that getting an AWD would be phat, no shit, but I dont have 5 grand to spend, unless my dad wants spend money, but if he spends that much money on a car, hes not gonna get me a suped up beast. That guy did have nice care car though.

Yea, first gen probes are fast as hell, but there's a lot about their styling that I just don't like man. Good luck on whatever you do decide to get though bro.

I mihgt not get it, im jsut saying that it is an option, unlike others, i do like some of the older models (80s style). It's an aquired taste i guess..

Heh, I personally like the body style of the Probe GT that you have now. It'll probably be an option if I can find one with a manual.

dude, the Gt with a manual is sweet. having a MT can have anywhere form .5 - 1sec difference over an AT. thats alot for just a clutch.

They're pretty quick stock, and since they are turbocharged, they've got a lot of potential for expansion. The engines have a LOT of torque if I remember correctly.

2.2L I-4 turbo, 12V SOHC
compression at 7.8:1
145 HP @ 4300
190 TQ @ 3500

The only thing i dont like is that its not DOHC with 16V
But that low compression allows for lots..lots of boost if you wanted to.
